From our Bohemian heart to London studio
Spending all my childhood in the Bohemian mountain, Krkonoše, surrounded by lush green hills, meadows full of wild flowers, deep woods and crystal clear creeks, I was always a child of nature. The herbal wisdom was passed onto me, without even noticing, by my grandma Jirina and my parents Eva and Mnislav. Every summer we collected medicinal plants, herbs and mushrooms at our cottage. We would dry them, marinated them in oils and make special tinctures.
My interest in the power of natural healing was always present but fully erupted when my son Jakub was born with serious eczema. I was struggling to find quality natural alternatives to mainstream chemical based skin care products. All my knowledge and eagerness to help him set me onto the deeper quest to study the power of nature.
I have moved with my family to the UK to be closer to the best expert in this field. I could work closely with the world’s best laboratories to deliver, what I believe, the best naturally formulated products with a maximum of active ingredients. In our small London studio, we formulate each of our luxurious, botanical blends with love, mindfulness and purity of intention. Every ingredient that we include in our products is there for a specific reason. We do not use fillers of any kind, meaning that almost every ingredient in our products is an “active” ingredient. This results in pure, highly concentrated and effective formulas that are a rarity in the skincare and cosmetics world today but you deserve it!

ABOUT NAME YAGE
The word yage conceals the magical power of the Amazon. A yage drink is made by Amazonian Indians from the Kofan tribe from the Aguarico River, to which my father took me years ago. Yage is a mysterious force that transmits them to the unearthly world where they are able to recognize the secrets of Mother Nature during sacred night of drinking. My father has devoted more than 50 years to the Amazonian Indians and Amazonian nature with thousands and thousands of endemic plants containing rare oils, dyes, poisons, active substances or hallucinogens. Yage is for Indians, for my father and for me, it is a symbol of the pure unspoiled nature of the Amazon, the largest tropical jungle on the planet, a reservoir of oxygen and many medicines. Just as Yage has the powerful power of clarity, I hope Yage cosmetics will lead people to quality and true natural care.
